Division: COWS Ice Cream
Summary of Position:
This person is responsible for the day to day operation of the ice cream store in the absence of the Manager. The ice cream assistant manager will be mainly ice cream focused, but will also be responsible for overseeing the operation of the retail store in the absence of the manager and retail assistant manager. This includes being accountable for the daily staffing and general administrative duties as well as providing leadership in the area of customer service.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Demonstrating COW WOW SERVICE: “All COWS customers must receive above and beyond care and attention- better than would ever be received anywhere in the world at all times!”
- Greeting and serving all customers
- Being competent in all phases of work done by scoopers, sales people, and supervisors
- Ordering products and supplies
- Handling staff and customer concerns
- Handling voids
- Preparation of all menu items, including cone batter, waffle cones and dishes
- Replenishing paper supplies and syrup toppings
- Being a liaison between staff and management
- Opening and closing the store
- Preparing bank deposit
- Handling cash – making change
- Maintaining the fresh dairy clean atmosphere of the COWS store
- Maintaining a clean fresh personal appearance at all times
- Assisting in training of ice cream and supervisory staff
- Other duties to secure the overall operation of the store

Physical Requirements:
- Repetitive tasks, specifically in the wrists
- Bending, lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Standing for the duration of the shift

- Reliable transportation
- Availability from mid-May to October (preferably)
